Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)

Suitable for: All Industry Sectors

Programme Content: KTP is a part Government funded programme that could enable your business to access the wide range of knowledge and resources available within the college in order to achieve strategic development goals and grow your business.

Programme Duration: Projects vary in length between 12 and 36 months

Delivery Model: A recently qualified individual is recruited to work in your company full-time for the duration of the project and is assisted by academic staff from the college on a weekly basis.

Benefits / Outcomes For Your Business: Depending on the strategic needs of your company the project can result in new products or services, improved business systems or strategies for accessing new markets.

Funded by: There are a number of sponsors for KTP depending on the nature of the business

Funding Allocation: Up to 60% funding for SMEs

Current Call: A deadline for new applications is typically available every 6 weeks.

Terms and Conditions: Companies must be able to demonstrate through 2 years accounts that they have the financial capability to cover the other 40% costs (approx £17K per year).
