Southern Regional College students from the School of Sports Studies and Public Services recently had the opportunity to gain expert advice in running an innovative sports business.
The college played host to Danny Turley from ‘Performa Sports Ltd'. Performa Sports is a real-time sports performance analysis tool designed for coaches and players to analyse and improve their performance.
The application is designed to enhance the quality of your analysis while reducing the time and costs involved in producing performance analysis results. It provides real-time and video analysis for Soccer, Rugby, Gaelic Football and Hurling and many other sports.
Students in attendance highlighted that the event provided a real opportunity to hear from an entrepreneur in the sports field.
