Hockey is a fast and fun game played between two teams of 11 players. It is one of the oldest sports and the ladies team at the College are given a lot of respect. The ladies hockey team is a cross campus team who have had success in recent years. Last year saw them finish runners-up in the Ulster Hockey Union McDowell Cup and the previous year they won the 2XI plate. SRC is the only College to be represented in this competition as they come up against opposition from colleges and grammar schools across Northern Ireland.
