LEADING UK AUTO EXPERT VISITS PORTADOWN

Providing a rare opportunity to talk to one of the leading experts in the field of automotive electronic diagnostic system, Southern Regional College was delighted to host a lecture by Frank Massey who spoke to representatives from local automotive businesses in the town on the latest vehicle technology.

With the effects of the credit crunch being felt by most businesses, the Portadown body shops and mechanics are keen to keep their skills relevant in order to compete in a very competitive industry. Among over 50 businesses in attendance were Autobann from Castle Street, Quinn Auto Repairs from Mahon Road, VL Vehicle Services from Derryall Road and Craigavon Autoparts.

Frank believes that by pioneering new repair methods, he can help thousands of independent garages throughout the UK enjoy increased business success. By sharing his knowledge and skills, Frank has shown that other technicians can match, and even exceed, the levels of technical skill and customer service offered to motorists in franchised dealer workshops

There was no charge for this event, with donations going toward BEN, the motor industry charity.
