Learners from Moy Park, Denny's, McMullen Architectural Systems, Irwin's Bakery and Action Mental Health attended the event and were presented with certificates for their achievements in Essential Skills, including Numeracy, Literacy and ICT.

Significant achievements have been made at Moy Park, where the dedication and commitment of the senior management team has encouraged the promotion of Essential Skills training. The collaborative approach between Southern Regional College and Moy Park has led to the continuous professional development of all Moy Park employees.

Improving the Essential Skills of a workforce has been shown to have a direct and measurable improvement on the efficiency and profitability of an organisation, and many employers in Northern Ireland are making huge savings every year by continuing to invest in the training and development needs of their employees.
