Global Entrepreneurship Week 

Since its inception, Global Entrepreneurship Week has spread to 115 countries, with nearly 24,000 organisations planning more than 37,000 activities. As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010 in the UK, over 207,200 people attended 2,577 events, run by 983 organisations.

Global Entrepreneurship Week offers an effective way to engage 14-19 year olds in a fun and rewarding enterprise activity. Global Entrepreneurship Week is a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people, with millions unleashing their enterprising talents and turning their ideas into reality.

National Women's Enterprise Day - Wednesday 16 November 2011

There are around 680,000 majority women-owned businesses in the UK generating £45 billion to the UK economy. We want more women to unleash their talents and make their ideas happen!

Organisations from all over the UK will be hosting events and activities on Women's Enterprise Day profiling successful female entrepreneurs and inspiring other women and girls to do the same.

Social Enterprise Day - Thursday 17 November 2011

This day is all about encouraging people to use enterprising ideas for social and environmental change.  Social enterprises range from farming and recycling initiatives to larger businesses.
