Big Success for Big Apprenticeship Event

Southern Regional College, in association with the Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade, hosted the Big Apprenticeship event on Wednesday 26 April at its Newry Campus.

STEM Awards 2017

Southern Regional College students from a range of creative and technical disciplines and across all campuses took part in a STEM competition on the College’s Newry campus. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) competition showcased the innovative and entrepreneurial talents of the College’s students as they presented their product, design and business ideas.

SRC Engineering students in German Placements

Southern Regional College Level 3 Engineering students from Newry and Portadown recently visited an Engineering technical college in Weiden Germany. While on this visit they participated in placements in German companies Vitron, Baumann and ISA.

SRC Lecturer Barry Nominated for Chef Lecturer Award

The nominees for the prestigious Craft Guild of Chefs Awards 2017 have been announced. SRC Lecturer Barry Smyth is among the 3 shortlisted for the Chef Lecturer award.

SRC Art Students in Linen Design Competition

Southern Regional College students recently participated in the intercollege ‘Linen in a Modern World’ competition. The competition was held in the Titanic Campus of the Belfast Met with a fashion show and afternoon tea.
