Northern Ireland’s best performing college, Southern Regional College, is celebrating its 10th birthday this month.
In August 2007, the 16 further and higher education colleges in Northern Ireland merged to create six new area based ‘super colleges.’ The birth of Southern Regional College incorporated the merger of the previously known Armagh College, Newry and Kilkeel Institute and Upper Bann Institute of Further and Higher Education.
