Funded by the Department for the Economy (DfE) under the “Future Skills” programme, the cohort undertook an 11-week intensive course in Data Analytics including modules in programming, MTA Software Development Fundamentals, Data Visualisation, Prince 2 and Hadoop.

Research has shown that skills in Data Analytics are highly sought after by companies in Northern Ireland. Through investing in this academy, DfE in partnership with SRC, is responding to this need by preparing a number of potential employees to take up posts in this area.
