Southern Regional College aims to ensure that everyone who applies for a course and fulfils the admissions criteria, will be put on a course that meets their needs and aptitude.
In some cases, the course that you may wish to join will have specific entry criteria. These have been specified to let you know what minimum prior knowledge, skills and / or academic qualifications you should have in order to meet the demands of the course.
In addition to providing appropriate information about the course of study, a PEAS (Pre-Enrolment Advice Session) is normally used as part of the selection process to ensure that students enrol on the correct course. This gives applicants an opportunity to discuss their choice of course with a specialist tutor and to ask specific questions on issues they may be concerned about. If undecided as to your choice of course, an interview can be arranged with the Careers Advisor to discuss possible alternatives.
