Our partner universities are:
The Higher Education qualifications which we can offer you are:
Postgraduate Diploma- Level 7
This qualification is a vocational course studied after an academic degree/ Level 5 Qualification. Postgraduate diplomas allow a gradaute student to study a more advanced programme than at the bachelor's level.
Bachelor Degrees - Level 6
This is the traditional academic qualification normally studied full-time over three years. If you have already studied a Foundation Degree or a Higher National Diploma/Certificate and would like to gain an Honours Degree, many of our subjects offer a final year BSc (Hons) one-year top-up option.
Foundation Degrees - Level 5
Foundation Degrees are equivalent to the first two years of a full Honours Degree. For example, an FdA is equivalent to the first two years of a BA and an FdSc is equivalent to the first two years of a BSc. These courses combine academic study with work-based learning. Foundation degrees typically focus on a particular industry to equip you for a career in that area. We offer progression routes from all our Foundation Degrees to the third year of a BA or BSc course at our partner university, Ulster University. All our Foundation Degree are validated by the Ulster University.
Higher Level Apprenticeships - Level 5
Higher Level Apprenticeships are a great alternative to university for A Level or A Level equivalent students, offering qualifications at Level 4 and Level 5 with no tuition fees and providing the opportunity to earn a salary with an employer as you learn. Higher Level apprentices typically split their time between college and the workplace.
Higher National Diploma (HND) - Level 5
If you know the career path you want to take and are looking to receive practical training in that field, then a HND course could be the qualification for you. A Higher National Diploma (HND) is a work-related course. A full-time HND takes two years to complete. Generally an HND is the equivalent to two years at university.
Higher National Certificate (HNC) - Level 4
If you know the career path you want to take and are looking to receive practical training in that field, then a HNC course could be the qualification for you. A full-time Higher National Certificate (HNC) takes one year to complete, or two years part-time. Unlike many degrees, these courses are vocationally focussed and therefore can lead straight on to employment. Moreover, they are a great stepping stone to a higher qualification, as you can choose to 'top up' an HND or HNC with extra studies at a later date, in order to convert it to a full bachelor's degree.
Professional Qualifications - Level 4 and Level 5
These are qualifications which are accredited by professional industry bodies and demonstrate a student’s depth of knowledge and understanding of a subject and also a commitment to succeed within the industry e.g. Institute of Leadership and Management, Accounting Technicians Ireland, etc.
