New £35m SRC Armagh Campus On Track For 2020 Opening

Southern Regional College’s new £35 million landmark campus in Armagh is well on track for a grand opening launch in 2020 after reaching another important construction milestone.

Key representatives, including Southern Regional College’s Chief Executive Brian Doran, Neil Madeley from Further Education Division within the Department for the Economy who are providing the funding for the project and Mark Campbell from construction lead Felix O’Hare and Co. Limited, gathered this week at the site to witness the new building reach its highest point.

SRC Banbridge Tea Dance

Southern Regional College, Banbridge Campus held its annual Tea Dance on Wednesday 12th December. This event was organised by the Banbridge Health and Social Care staff and BTEC Level 3 students. The Tea Dance is attended every year by our Special Educational Needs students as well as elderly groups within the local community.

Award-Winning Students and Staff Honoured by SRC

SRC students and staff have been honoured by Southern Regional College at the Annual Governing Body Planning Day, held in the Graduate Restaurant, Newry East Campus. 15 students were honoured for their participation in the WorldSkills UK LIVE at the NEC in Birmingham, and two members of staff have been honoured by City & Guilds with a Medal for Excellence for their exemplary work.

SRC Student is Finalist at British Education Awards

Kelsie Stewart, 17, a student at Southern Regional College, Banbridge campus has been shortlisted as a Finalist at the British Education Awards 2019, in recognition of his brilliant academic results and extra-curricular success within the Vocational category.
