Level 3 Health and Social Care students, along with their tutors, Laura Martin and Mairead McGarvey, recently invited the ASDAN and Employability students to the Armagh Killylea Road campus to take part in a Project Based Learning Health and Well-being day.
Thanks to other school departments coming on board, the day was a huge success that allowed students from four different departments to experience a deeper learning experience together and develop team work and communication skills. The Performing Arts department played a huge part in the success of the day by facilitating an exercise dance class followed by a karaoke session. Beauty students also helped out by offering Indian Head massages in the afternoon.
Health and Social Care students worked hard to organise a range of activities throughout the afternoon, such as baking, pampering and relaxation, games, science experiments and nutritional guidance with some yummy fruit treats to try on the day also.
A fantastic day had by all involved, with the Armagh Campus proving that Team-Work makes the Dream-Work!
