SRC Win Big at WorldSkills UK!

Northern Ireland’s Best Performing College has scooped the highest number of medals of any NI College at WorldSkills UK over the weekend and came 2nd overall in the medal table.

Southern Regional College students brought home a fantastic 2 golds, 1 silver, 2 bronzes and 2 highly commended medals.

SRC Success at Ulster Colleges Tournament

Southern Regional College Gaelic football teams recently travelled to compete in the prestigious Ulster Colleges Competition at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown. The teams were made up from students from Armagh and Newry campuses. The competition was tough on the day from the other regional colleges in Ulster but SRC lead the way when it came to the final of both competitions.

SRC: Revisiting the Past and Making New History


Former students, staff, associates and members of the public paid a fond and sometimes emotional tribute to Armagh’s Southern Regional College old campus building at Lonsdale Road on Thursday 26 October after the building shut its doors to students and staff for the very last time.
