SRC Promoting International Social Inclusion And Diversity

Southern Regional College’s European Funding and International Affairs team hosted a Social Inclusion and Diversity showcase event at the Seagoe Hotel in Portadown on the 30th of April through the Learning for Living Together Project. The project is funded under the EU Erasmus+ Programme for Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices.

Showcasing Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent at SRC

Southern Regional College held a cross-campus competitive event and awards ceremony recently to recognise the excellence and diversity of project based learning across a wide range of the College’s curriculum areas. The event was an excellent platform to showcase the depth and range of creativity and innovation amongst the SRC student body across many industry sectors.

BTEC Awards Success for Armagh Pair

SRC is celebrating as a lecturer and student have been rewarded at the BTEC Awards with a BTEC Awards 2019 Bronze Certificate. Armagh-based Health and Social Care lecturer Laura Martin, along with her student, Caitlin Wright have received the prestigious awards. The BTEC Awards 2019 are about celebrating exceptional BTEC students and recognising the inspirational lecturers whose dedication and passion are moulding the career professionals of the future.

Armagh Campus Work Together in Health and Well-Being Day 2019

Armagh Level 3 Health and Social Care students organised a second successful health and wellbeing day for our ASDAN students. This day really highlighted some great team work at the Armagh Killylea Road campus with the Performing Arts, Music and Art department all playing a huge role in the success of the day.

SRC Esports Team Win Grand Final

SRC Esports Team, Team SRCulater, won their first grand final of the British Esports Championships and became the only undefeated FE College in the RockletLeague series. To get to this point, they beat off stiff competition from seven other colleges within the UK, to gain a place in the Grand Finals held at Insomnia 64 in the NEC in Birmingham.
