At SRC we offer a range of full-time and part-time flexible employment related courses that combine traditional college study with learning that takes place at work.

Foundation Degrees are equivalent to the first two years of a full Honours Degree. For example, a FdA is equivalent to the first two years of a BA and an FdSc is equivalent to the first two years of a BSc. These courses combine academic study with work-based learning. Foundation degrees typically focus on a particular industry to equip you for a career in that area. We offer progression routes from all our Foundation Degrees to the third year of a BA or BSc course at our partner universities - The Open University, Queen's University Belfast and Ulster University.
