Overview

This course is part funded as part of the Skills Focus Programme. To qualify, your business or social enterprise must have less than 250 employees and you must be based in Northern Ireland and operate for profit.

This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn about artificial intelligence (AI) and the services in Microsoft Azure that you can use to build AI solutions for business. The course provides a practical, hands-on approach in which you will get a chance to see AI in action and try Azure AI services for yourself. Throughout the course, you'll find references to specific Microsoft Learn modules used to supplement your learning in and around the AI sphere.

This course is 90% funded as part of the Skills Focus Programme. To qualify, your business or social enterprise must have less than 250 employees and you must be based in Northern Ireland and operate for profit.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have already attained a level 4 qualification.

Qualification Aim

The OCN NI Level 5 Certificate in Developing Cloud-Based Machine Learning Solutions will enable the learner to gain skills in cloud-based computing, specifically in the areas of machine learning and managing and securing computer networks to provide services.

Qualification Objectives

The objectives of the OCN NI Level 5 Certificate in Developing Cloud-Based Machine Learning Solutions are to enable learners to gain skills and knowledge to:

Train and validate cloud-based machine learning models using both automated and manual processes
Train and validate cloud-based computer vision machine learning models
Select and test cloud-based natural language processing solutions

The portfolio for this qualification is designed to provide a comprehensive view of a learner's skills and knowledge. It is a holistic collection of evidence that may include a single piece of evidence that satisfies multiple assessment criteria.

Applicants may progress to other level 5 Qualifications such as the Level 5 Certificate in Security, Compliance and Identity for Cloud Based Systems.
