The College remains open, with the majority of teaching being delivered online.

FULL-TIME STUDENTS COVID PAYMENT

In recognition of the costs involved in online learning, the College is pleased to confirm that a one-off payment of £60 will be made to all eligible students who are enrolled and attending College or engaging with lessons remotely. Each full-time student (Further Education, Higher Education, Training for Success, Apprenticeship NI or Higher Level Apprenticeship) who was still attending their course in January 2021 is eligible. In order to process payments, please respond to the request within the College email.

DIGITAL OPEN DAYS

Prospective students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend our Digital Opens Days, 8th – 11th March. You will have the opportunity to engage with lecturers and find out all you need to know about courses starting September. Find out more and register at www.src.ac.uk/support/open-days 

BTEC AND ESSENTIAL SKILLS EXAMINATIONS

Further announcements on examinations will be issued to students when details of alternative arrangements become available. Students are also advised to maintain contact with their tutor for updates.

WORK BASED LEARNING – TRAINING FOR SUCCESS (TfS) AND APPRENTICESHIPS

All TfS and Apprenticeship training programmes are engaged with remote learning to the maximum extent possible. Only in exceptional circumstances and under the instruction of the College are trainees/apprentices required to come onsite.

STUDENT SUPPORT

Learning Resource Centres remain open to students unable to access online lessons from home. Student services and limited canteen facilities are also available during this period. Student queries should be directed to Course Co-ordinators. General queries should be emailed to info@src.ac.uk

The College caters for the needs of all learners from the essential skills of numeracy and literacy through to degree studies and much more in between including Level 1 – 3 Certificates and Diplomas; NVQ’s, City & Guilds/OCR qualifications, Training for Success programmes and Apprenticeship Training. Use the Full-time or Part-time sections to find a course that will suit you.

The College offers an increasing range of Higher Education provision including Foundation Degrees, Higher National Diplomas and Full Degrees.
