This Microsoft Azure related qualification is for those wishing to learn how to 'Network the Cloud' including how to design, implement, and maintain Azure networking solutions. This course covers the process of designing, implementing, and managing core Azure networking infrastructure, This includes hybrid networking connections, load balancing traffic, network routing, private access to Azure services, network security and monitoring.

On this programme students will learn how to design and implement a secure, reliable, network infrastructure in Azure and how to establish hybrid connectivity, routing, private access to Azure services, and monitoring in Azure.

This course is 90% funded as part of the Skills Focus Programme. To qualify, your business or social enterprise must have less than 250 employees and you must be based in Northern Ireland and operate for profit.

Applicants to this programme must be at least 18 years of age and have already attained a level 3 qualification.

Qualification Aim

The aim of the OCN NI Level 4 Certificate in Optimising Cloud-Based Network Solutions is to enable the learner to gain skills in cloud-based computing, specifically in the areas of machine learning and implementing and securing computer networks.

Qualification Objectives

The objectives of the OCN NI Level 4 Certificate in Optimising Cloud-Based Network Solutions are to enable learners to gain skills and knowledge to:

Secure network communications
Use software defined networking (SDN services) to address network connectivity issues
Evaluate cloud network security and make recommendations for security and performance improvements
