The username and password you used to access SRC computers and your SRC Office 365 account will still be the same and you should use this to access all College systems. You will not receive an email and text with this detail. Please view the Key College Systems section below if you need a reminder on how to access these systems. If you are still having issues logging on to your Office365 account (email, Teams) please contact IT Services Helpdesk 028 38397890 or email itservices@src.ac.uk. Please include your user id and a contact telephone number as it will help us identify you on the system.

You will have used a personal email and a password when you applied for your course on the College Application Portal (see screen shot below of the College Application Portal). If you need to access this portal to update student details eg Phone Number or email address, you will need to use the personal email and password that you used at the time you applied i.e. if you are logging onto this portal shown below use those credentials. Please check that your mobile phone number and email address are correct and valid as these will be used to send you your username and password to access other SRC systems.

If you have forgotten your password for the College Application portal, use the option for Forgot your Password on the logon screen. If you still having issues on this system, please email admissions@src.ac.uk

Once you have been enrolled you will be given a College UserID/email in the format 300XXXXX@students.src.ac.uk

You will receive an email to the email address that you entered on the Course Application Portal giving your user id. You will receive a text message to the mobile number you entered on the Course Application Portal giving your password. Please logon to the College Application portal to check these to ensure they are still valid and update if they are not, otherwise you will not receive the full information that you need to logon to college systems. You should generally receive these details within 48 working hours of confirmed enrolment.

Note there may be a delay between receiving your email and text message. This varies by email provider and mobile phone service provider. Please allow 24 hours for both messages to come through before contacting the IT Services helpdesk.

You will use this user id and password for logging on to Office 365 and Canvas (the College VLE) both remotely and onsite. You will also use this when onsite to logon to all College Computers. You should have received an email and a text with the logon details for this. If onsite your Tutor can assist you with this.

If you do not receive an email or text message or if you have any problems logging on once you have both your username and password, please contact IT Services Helpdesk 028 38397890 or email itservices@src.ac.uk. If you have received your new College user id/email address, please include this as it will help us identify you on the system. If you have changed your email address or mobile phone number since applying for your course, please include details of your old and new ones. Please allow 48 working hours from confirmed enrolment for your logon details to be generated and sent to you.

Please note that you will need to have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed and setup on your mobile phone if you require remote access to your SRC account (including Teams for online classes and Outlook/email on your mobile phone) and SRC systems (i.e. any access that is not on campus). Details of how to set this up are available here and details on how it works after setup are available here (these links require you to logon to Canvas, see instructions below on how to do this). If you are not sure how to do this or are having trouble setting it up, please speak to your lecturer or course tutor when on-campus who will be able to help you with this. This helps to prevent unauthorised users from accessing your SRC account and information. This app can also be used to protect other important systems that you may use and access, such as online banking, PayPal, Amazon etc. The college does not receive or store any information from this app other than to verify your identity when logging on to your SRC account or systems.

Please note : if you are having issues logging on, please try to logon using a Desktop or Laptop in the first instance. There are a wide variety of Mobile devices running various operating systems and browsers and some of these can have issues.
