UNTITLED 2022 opens at the Millennium Court Art Centre in Portadown on Wednesday 25th May. The exhibition will showcase the creative work from the BA (Hons) Creative Imaging Degree and HND Graphic Design class of 2022! The exhibition is open to the public and will run until the end of June. Local businessman and entrepreneur, Mr Thomas Vaughan, will formally open the exhibition at 7:30pm on 25th May.
The work on display is the consolidation of two years’ studies from both courses, which are offered at the College's Banbridge Campus. The variety of media explored includes graphic design, sculpture, instillation, photography, fashion and fine art.
The BA (Hons) in Creative Imaging is accredited by Liverpool John Moores University. The programme supports diverse studies in graphic design, moving image, printmaking, photography and aspects of fine and applied art. The degree offers a programme of study which responds flexibly to the requirements of the creative industries by evaluating, reviewing and updating course content and its relationship with the marketplace. The HND Graphic Design is accredited by Pearson BTEC.
Dr Paul Hamilton, Course Director on the Degree programme said, "This has been a difficult time for art and design students and the opportunity to display work in a public gallery is such a boost for their future and reward for their hard work. The effort by both groups has been exceptional and the fact that the whole show has been organised and produced by them is an example of their dedication and creativity. We are all very excited about the opening of this exhibition and we hope visitors enjoy it."
