Overview

Quantity surveyors are responsible for the management of all costs associated with building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final value of the project. This BTEC accredited course will introduce students to the technical knowledge required to work in the construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor. This course is equivalent to two A-Levels and successful completion of the course can allow progression to a Higher Level Apprenticeship.

This course offers a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in surveying and land measurement to develop their technical expertise and gain practical experience in surveying techniques, data analysis, and project management. Throughout the apprenticeship, participants will engage in a wide range of activities related to surveying, including land and building measurement, topographic surveying, setting out, mapping, data analysis, and the use of surveying equipment and software. They will learn about surveying principles, geospatial technology, data collection methods, and surveying regulations and standards.
