Community and Inclusive Workforce Development
We offer several funded projects to support skills solutions both for business and the community. Our dedicated community team works in the heart of local communities to design and deliver a range of skills programmes to support those who are furthest removed from the labour market to access employability and skills supports which are matched with employers' needs.
We work in partnership with many community groups to identify the needs of citizens, families and community organisations and provide relevant support to them in their journey towards skills attainment and employment. We also work closely with employers to ensure the provision is meaningful and matches their needs.
One of our key programmes is Employ Me, which is an employability programme providing training, employability and wraparound support for economically inactive people aged 16+ by offering free courses up to Level 2 & 3 alongside a personal support plan to help participants develop in their journey to employment. Partnering with the Clanrye Group, Women's Aid and Community Advice, the programme has many notable successes to date and has supported over 1000 people into jobs since April 2023.
