Overview
This is an English course for speakers of other languages (ESOL) to improve confidence and develop skills in communicating in social situations.
The language covered will include: greeting formally and informally; making small talk with family, friends, neighbours and casual acquaintances; talking about feelings and emotions; giving opinions; agreeing and disagreeing and responding to a variety of questions. It includes core outcomes around sharing personal information and basic numeracy.
