Overview

This is an English course for speakers of other languages (ESOL) to improve confidence and develop skills in communicating in social situations.

In this module learners will read and understand straightforward texts used in everyday life, such as forms, narratives, letters and simple instructions.

: This course is suitable if you have a strong foundation in English or if you have already achieved an Entry 2 qualification or all Entry 2 modules.

Please note you may be required to take a short assessment before enrolling on the course.
: Students will learn to read and understand straightforward texts used in everyday life, such as forms, narratives, letters and simple instructions.
: Students will be formally assessed at the end of this module.
: All three modules (Reading, Speaking & Listening and Writing) need to be completed before progression to ESOL Level 1.
