Overview

The Floral Craft Level 3 Award is an advanced programme designed for individuals seeking to elevate their skills and knowledge in floral design. It is perfect for learners who wish to prepare for a career in floristry or to enable them to become a proficient flower arranger.

This course focuses on sophisticated techniques and concepts in floral artistry, providing participants with the expertise needed to create intricate and professional-grade floral arrangements suitable for various occasions.

Learners will be trained to have the knowledge and skills required to produce a wide range of floral designs, including some for wedding work. They will also be taught how to plan and prepare for a floral design project such as a wedding.

A level 2 qualification in floral art is preferred for entry onto this course.

Using materials to create and present final floral crafts work
A design project

Assessment for this course is portfolio based and will be carried out on a weekly basis. Through class demonstrations and floral designs, students will collect a range of evidence that will be captured in photograph form and incorporated into a project booklet showcasing their designs.
