Overview

Geography is an interesting and contemporary subject that provides learners with the opportunity to learn more about the earth, its landscapes, people, places and environments. The study of geography therefore will help students to have a clearer understanding of important world issues including climate change, energy conservation and pollution. Geography A-Level will also enable them to develop fieldwork skills and techniques by having the opportunity to investigate real-life issues practically.

Throughout the course, students will study a wide range of topics, including physical geography, human geography, and environmental geography. They will explore concepts such as landforms, climate systems, ecosystems, population dynamics, urbanisation, economic geography, development, and global environmental challenges. The programme aims to develop students' understanding of the complex relationships between people and their environment and the processes that drive environmental change.
