Overview
The Instructing Circuit Sessions Level 2 Award will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead effective circuit training sessions. This course is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fitness and wish to pursue a career as a circuit training instructor or enhance their skills in leading group exercise sessions. It is perfect for qualified gym, exercise or music instructors, with the aim to develop learner’s ability to plan and deliver safe and effective circuit training sessions.
Throughout the course, participants will gain a deep understanding of the principles and benefits of circuit training. They will learn how to design and deliver safe, challenging, and engaging circuit sessions that cater to the needs and goals of a diverse range of participants. The course will cover a variety of circuit training techniques, including cardiovascular exercises, strength training, plyometrics, and functional movements.
The Active IQ Instructing Circuit Sessions Level 2 Award sits at level 2 on the Qualifications and Credit Framework. It is also recognised by The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at level 2, but does not provide access onto the Register. Entry onto the Register is gained via a recognised level 2 fitness instructing qualification.
