Overview
This course is 90% funded by the Department for the Economy and 10% paid by the employer as part of the Skills Focus Programme. To qualify, your business or social enterprise must have less than 250 employees and you must be based in Northern Ireland and operate for profit.
The content of this qualification has been designed to give learners the knowledge and skills required to work safely whilst carrying out diagnostic, testing and repair activities to ADAS sensors and systems. This may include vehicles that have or have had accident damage for wheel geometry adjustments.
The course has been designed to provide a standardised approach for the delivery and assessment of the knowledge and skills requirements relating to vehicles fitted with ADAS technology.
This award offers an introduction to this specialised industry sector which, in addition to complimenting their current industry qualifications and experience, will enable learners to continue to work safely within their role.
