Our Chef Bootcamp candidates hosted a celebratory lunch at our Graduate Restaurant where they showcased their culinary skills by preparing a diverse range of delicious dishes from scratch, demonstrating the expertise they acquired over the four-week programme.
This programme, fully funded by Newry, Mourne and Down Labour Market Partnership, provides a unique opportunity for aspiring chefs to obtain industry relevant qualifications and kickstart their careers.
Thanks to the support of local employers, the Canal Court Hotel and Spa, Killeavy Castle Estate, Kilmorey Arms Hotel, Cuan Mhuire, Kilmorey Care and Norbrook, who offered practical placement opportunities to allow candidates to further enhance their culinary talents.
Special thanks to Eamonn Connolly at Newry Bid who organised a Food Tour for our candidates, supported by The Cozy Corner, Loft 27 and the Canal Court Hotel and Spa.
