The aim of the OCN NI Level 2 Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery is to develop a broad base of wood working skills and practical techniques. This apprenticeship will enable learners to gain skills and knowledge in first and second fix carpentry techniques, health, safety and welfare in wood occupations, interpreting construction drawings, maintaining and using woodworking hand and power tools setting, marking out and manufacture of joinery products, understanding construction methods setting, and operating CNC machines.

The Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 Diploma Apprenticeship provides apprentices with a comprehensive understanding of the craft, covering key aspects such as timber construction, joinery techniques, woodworking machinery operation, and woodwork installation. Apprentices will have the opportunity to work on real construction projects, both individually and as part of a team, to apply their skills and knowledge in practical scenarios.
