Overview

The Level 3 Award in Craft has been designed to provide learners with an opportunity to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to contribute to art and design activities. In order to achieve this qualification, learners must successfully complete a minimum of 8 credits.

There are no specific formal entry requirements for this course. However, for some units the learners may need an understanding of certain areas before they can fully benefit from them.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.

Dressmaking Skills
Embroidery Skills
Exploring and Evaluating Jewellery Ideas
Printed Textiles
Stained Glass Work
Ceramics
Floral Craft

Grading for this qualification is Pass/Fail.

The Level 3 Award in Craft qualification enables progression into further learning including higher level qualifications, employment or further learning opportunities within employment.
