Overview

This course is fully funded through the SkillUP Flexible Skills Fund. The aim of this course is to develop the skills and knowledge of learners to monitor, maintain and enhance the security of information technology systems. Learners will be able to develop expertise in managing and mitigating cyber threats.

Please note your application will not be considered until all the necessary documentation is uploaded.

Upon receipt of your application and uploaded evidence, you will be invited to attend an online Pre-Enrolment Advice Session. It is essential you attend this session.

Applicants should have achieved:

A level 3 qualification in Information Technology or related subject (please upload official certificates to the SRC application portal)

This Course is funded through the Skill Up programme. All applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

Applicants must be 18 years of age on or before the course start date
Applicants must have a right to work and undertake training in the UK at the point of application and for the duration of the course. Proof of this will be required to progress application Prove your right to work to an employer: Overview - GOV.UK
If required, applicants must be available to register in person at an SRC Campus
Applicants must meet the academic eligibility criteria for each course applied to

Documentation confirming eligibility of the above criteria will be requested prior to securing a place on the course.

Candidates are permitted to complete a maximum of two free courses at a time with any Skill Up provider and must be available to attend class during published class times.

Places on Skill Up courses are limited and course dates are subject to change. Minimum numbers will be required for a course to run.
