Overview

This is an English course for speakers of other languages (ESOL) to improve confidence and develop skills in communicating in social situations.

In this module, learners will develop the knowledge and skills they need to be able to read and understand straightforward texts used in everyday life, such as forms, narratives, letters, and simple instructions.

: This course is suitable for those who have a strong command of fundamental English or have already achieved a full Entry 3 qualification or all Entry 3 modules.

Please note applicants may be required to take a short assessment before enrolling on this course.
: This course will focus on the study of straightforward texts used in everyday life, such as forms, narratives, letters and simple instructions.
: This course will be assessed by an externally set and internally marked assessment.
: All three Entry 3 modules (Reading, Speaking & Listening and Writing) must be completed for progression to ESOL Level 2.
