Overview

This course falls under the South East Cross Border alliance (SECBA). A project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

This course will enable learners to understand and apply the principles of data analytics and visualisation. Learners will develop skills in collecting, analysing, interpreting, and presenting data using appropriate software tools. It focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights through visual storytelling and analytical techniques, preparing learners for roles in data-driven environments.

There are no formal entry requirements of this course.

This course will be ideal for anyone wanting to strengthen their data literacy, including business professionals, analysts, administrative staff, students, and anyone transitioning into data-related roles.

Areas of study include:

Collect, prepare and analyse data to identify trends and patterns
Create and format data visualisations to communicate insights
Present data findings using appropriate tools and techniques

Assessment will be through hands-on exercises and practical projects.

Learners will be equipped to progress to intermediate or advanced courses in Excel or PowerBI.

By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently manage datasets, perform meaningful analyses, and present insights using professional, dynamic visualisations and apply these within their job roles.
