Overview

Religious Studies promotes an understanding of the diversity of our society. Through a study of a selection of New Testament books and ethics, students are encouraged to reflect upon Christianity’s role today and the various issues that it faces. This is a versatile subject that develops a student’s ability to present arguments, consider other points of view and engage in critical discussion – all of which are key skills needed for further study at university.

The A Level in Religious Studies offers students a comprehensive and intellectually stimulating exploration of the major world religions and their philosophical, ethical, and social implications. This course provides a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in studying and understanding religious beliefs, practices, and their wider impact on society, culture, and individual lives.
