TRANSFORMING BUSINESS PROCESS USING AI AGENTS Level 3 Award (AdvanceME) EV-O

  • Level 3
  • Courses For Industry

Overview

This programme provides a practical introduction to using Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents to improve everyday business processes. You will learn what AI agents are, what they can do, and how they can be used responsibly to improve productivity, collaboration and decision-making.

Importantly, the course moves beyond simply using tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot. You will learn how to create, test, refine and share your own AI agents using modern AI platforms.

The specification has a strong practical business focus. For example, learners will explore how organisations can use agents for email and document summarisation, spreadsheet analysis, information retrieval, decision support and routine communications.

A key part of the course is learning how to interact effectively with existing AI agents. You will explore specialised agents for areas such as research, data analysis, writing and idea generation, and learn how effective prompts can improve the quality of their responses. One of the most interesting elements of this qualification is that learners will actually create an AI agent rather than simply learn about them. Learners will examine tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder and Copilot Studio, as well as agents linked to organisational information such as SharePoint content.

The course also considers what happens when AI agents move from individual experimentation into an organisational environment. Learners will explore how agents can be shared with specific users, teams or more widely across an organisation and how they can be integrated into collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams. They will also consider permissions, data security, organisational policies, responsible AI, monitoring and governance, including the important principle that an agent should only be able to access information that the user already has permission to view.
