On Thursday 16th October 2025, Southern Regional College hosted Health and Social Care Connect, an event designed to connect employers in the health and social care sector with emerging talent and tailored training opportunities.
The event, hosted by our Health & Social Care Faculty alongside the Business Support & Innovation Team, provided employers with the chance to explore funding opportunities and course offerings specifically tailored to workforce needs. This event was made possible with funding from Connected, supporting initiatives that strengthen local workforce development.
Up to 250 students from Level 3 programmes and above attended the networking fair, actively seeking placements and employment opportunities, giving employers direct access to a pool of talented potential candidates.
Held at our Armagh Campus, the event offered a valuable opportunity for employers to engage with students and discuss workforce development priorities.
