The Certificate in Advice and Guidance Level 4 qualification is ideal if your role involves providing specialist advice and guidance to clients, reporting to senior management and networking with associated services.

This Course is funded through the Skill Up programme. All applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

Applicants must be 18 years of age on or before the course start date.
Applicants must have a right to work and undertake training in the UK at the point of application and for the duration of the course. Proof of this will be required to progress application. Prove your right to work to an employer: Overview - GOV.UK
If required, applicants must be available to register in person at an SRC Campus.
Applicants must meet the academic eligibility criteria for each course applied to.

Documentation confirming eligibility of the above criteria will be requested prior to securing a place on the course.

Candidates are permitted to complete a maximum of two free courses at a time with any Skill Up provider and must be available to attend class during published class times.

Places on Skill Up courses are limited and course dates are subject to change. Minimum numbers will be required for a course to run.

Individuals will complete a range of mandatory and optional units, including:

Support clients to make use of the advice and guidance service
Stage and manage the mediation process
Provide support for other practitioners.

Learners achieving Level 4 in Advice and Guidance may progress into teaching or specialist areas such as counselling, mediation, careers guidance, community development and financial advice.
